GEOSYNTHETICS SERVICES
Eco Line Solutions supplies and installs a broad range of Geosynthetics from reputable and quality manufacturers. Geosynthetics are designed to serve a particular function including impermeable/low permeability containment, transmission of gas, conveyance of liquid, protection from mechanical damage between layers, and separation of layers from mixing.
Eco Line have a tried and tested structured procurement process supporting the success of all its projects. This process includes;
* evaluation and selection of material based on project requirements
* production monitoring
* quality control documentation, review and compliance
* managing logistics including international shipping, local transportation, site unloading and storage
Ecoline's 1 hectare storage facility in the NW of Sydney provides the following advantages to clients:
-
immediate availability of most commonly used geosynthetics, thereby avoid 6-10 week lead times
-
storage of project materials allowing staged deliveries to site as required by project schedule and productivity
-
container destuffing capabilities by Ecoline, resulting in reduced material handling damage by third parties
-
material CQA sampling close to consultants offices

Ecoline Solutions supplies and installs the following Geosynthetics products.
GEOMEMBRANES
A geomembrane is a low permeability polymer liner used in environmental containment applications.
Two common Geomembranes types are:
• HDPE - High Density Polyethylene
• LLDPE - Linear Low-density Polyethylene

They comes in a range of smooth and textured surface treatments, gauges including 0.75mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 2.5mm geomembranes.
Please get in touch with us to discuss in detail or should any other surface treatments and gauges required for your project.
GEOCOMPOSITE
Geocomposites are manufactured liquid and gas drainage products with significant resistence to compressive loads. They are composed of a Geonet (bi or tri planar) with a non woven geotextile laminated either on one side or both sides.
Geocomposite are often a perfect substitution for a traditional gravel or sand drainage layer.

Main Applications include landfill leachate and methane collection and conveyance, leak detection, groundwater drainage and other subsurface drainage system applications.

GCL
A geosynthetic clay liner (GCL) is comprised of two geotextiles needle punched together, encapsulating a layer of bentonite clay between them. GCLs are known for having consistency and very low permeability. They have the unique ability self-heal punctures when used in combination with geomembranes and self-seam at the overlaps.

GCL's are the perfect alternative to a compacted clay liner, when local consistent quality clays are not available.

GEOGRID
A geogrid is geosynthetic material used to reinforce soils and similar materials. Geogrids are commonly used to reinforce retaining walls, stiffening of soils and pavements and bridging over soft soils.
Geogrids are strong in tension when compared to soils. This allows them to transfer forces to a larger area of soil than would otherwise be the case.

GEOTEXTILE
A geotextile is a manufactured polymer fibre fabric with extensive applications including;
* protection/cushion to Geomembranes from damage
* separation and filtering between material layers
* increase soil stability
* erosion control
